Any tips on killing the band of Cumans for the invaders Quest near the nomad camp? Straight up fight is pretty brutal.

So is the peaceful option. Man do they like to drink.....

I was drunk for several hours into the next day, and that hangover, that was brutal.
The peaceful option was rough, considering I had so many quests to do on a time limit lol

Well they were with the band that murdered your family and burned down your village from the first game. So I am aiming for the Justice served route.

Wait for the night and stab them all, or poison their food.

Unfortunately they don't seem to sleep. Not sure if it is a bug but they stayed up all night.

Not exactly, when you get drunk with them you learn the following:

1) They were late arrivals, they weren't part of the initial attack, more some of the raiders after the fact.

2)While they may have killed some people, they weren't part of the main massascre, nor were they there when Martin fell. Compared to most of the cumans, they were more reserved.

3) They hate and despise Markov. They hate that bald MF almost as much as you do.

4) They are desserters. They had enough of not being paid, the ruthlessness of their peers, and all the rest of the BS. At this point they just want to drink and be left alone.

5)While they are not so bad, they will point out another camp of Cumans, who are not like them as far as being chill and not wanting to cause trouble. Those are some Cumans, actually deserving of having justice dished out.
Poison your weapons or poison their food. Seriously, a good poison applied to your weapons is pretty OP.

All well and good if you believe their story. I would probably lie to the son of the villagers I slaughtered as well.
I don't think the: "oh, well we were there, but not really because we were umm... late! And that bald guy you hate, we hate him too! And we totally didn't rob and murder any of the locals because we were never paid and need to eat.

Vasko will give you camp location of cuman patrol which participated in the sacking of Skalitz.

Vasko is also a trainer.

Yeah tier 4 bane poison kinda trivialized the fight. One little nick and they are done. Whelp justice done, even if it was dirty fighting.

I shot them with some arrows and fought them in the small valley leading down to their camp where you could force them to fight 1v1. Took some tries but wasnt too bad

drop some poison into their food or wait till they go to bed and steal all their armor out of their chest.

All their gear is flagged at "stolen" if you loot them for some reason. Which is odd.
Also if you drag the fight up to the nomad camp, the nomads will help them and attack you. I think there is a bug that has them flagged as a "guard" status.

Maybe they were telling the truth then and are actually friendly/neutral like the nomads seem to be.

It is kinda weird they'd be camping next to each other like that I assume them and the nomads stumbled upon each other sometime recently and have some sort of agreement.

Seems they might just be some truthful honest cumans who wanted a better life than serving under some kings command in his army. And just subject to prejudice by Henry (depending on course of action ig) and whoever else (innkeeper and such idk my quest was bugged at the start).

Otherwise it seems they'd be considered like bandits or hostiles of some sort and you could just loot them without getting a stolen status on anything. Or maybe it's just cus they're like technically in the nomad camp? Idk

You don't have to drag them up to get Nomad's mad. Bribek the Archer (a nomad) often wanders down to and drinks with the Cumans.

If he happens to walk down to the lower camp at the wrong time, then you trigger the Nomad's too.
