Noob question about daggers

I have a dagger, and I have it equipped in the slot next to my belt. I have no idea how to draw/use it.

I also have a hunting sword, and that shows up when I press left on the D-pad and I can draw/use that.

What am I missing here?

Daggers are only used for stealth kills.

IF you have a dagger equipped you can Murder a guy from behind by beeing stealth and knock them out, with f

wothout dagger you can only knock him out. with dagger you have the oiption to kill him straight.

if you want to kill people then its an option.


also, the dagger is considered the status symbol of a free man, that can defend himself in times like these :)

This. It also comes in handy in some story missions. It won't always succeed, but it gives you some options

It's not like a sword that you draw in combat. It just unlocks the ability in stealth.

Ah ok, so it only becomes an option to draw when you sneak up on someone. Thank you.

Not really draw but a option for stealth kill hold F on pc.

You still have to click the "crossed swords" icon in time to do a silent kill. And if the mark resists, you will have to click an icon for follow up strike.
