Pavlena Quest bug fix?

Has anyone found a way to fix the bug in Pavlena's quest? She kills a guy and then kneels down to start crying but the talk button is grayed out so I can't do anything or progress the quest. There are an unacceptable amount of bugs in the game, it's worse than anything I've ever played because they're rarely funny or a mild annoyance, most of them lock you out of a lot of content or just make you miserable like the wedding tournament where the opponents have wooden swords and you aren't allowed armor, but the game bugs and doesn't change their weapon stats so they're using a wooden sword with the stats of a real sword to kill you in one or two hits while you have to get off 10-15.

Loading an earlier savefile before you need to go to those cliffs fixed it for me. Might has something to do with the daytime.

First time was in the night and that dude apparently didn notice me unless i directly talked with him or attacked him. Result afterwards was the same as yours.

2nd time was in the middle of the day. Script played out as intended (drawing a weapon resulted in an insta kill of that girl). Heck he even noticed me before i climbed that ladder leading to the campsite.

Funny thing is i still got a backup save with the bug still active and the non intactive girl crying on the ground. So some scriptlines probably got messed up there.

My last auto save is standing in front of him about to negotiate and reloading that one doesn't change anything. The one before will lose me 4 hours of progress. So now I get to replay 4 hours of content because of a bug! :D Someone said to punch her once to fix the bug but that didn't work for me either. Talk is still grayed out.

I'll give loading that older save file a try but I think I'm going to take a break for a few days and play something else. This game is so amazing but I just can't deal with these bugs anymore. They aren't just annoying they make you downright miserable. lol
