Am I giving the dog too much attention?
Same, I was always hesitant to feed him too much and make him sick because I have a weakness for dogs, but I just saved and went crazy giving him food to get his obedience level back up and I didn't notice his level drop after closing it out.
It's either janky like most of the game or it's a deceiving mechanic that's really a lot deeper and more complex than it seems. I feel like making him walk around in the rain and obviously him getting hurt in combat significantly affect his obedience level but so much of it doesn't make sense.
Yeah that's what I'm going for, it drops the obedience level decay by a good 25%. I'm not sure exactly sure what levels up houndmaster but I know it's level 13 for me right now. That's crazy though, it seems so random. lol
What confuses me is that both stats are different, the number under the portrait is always lower than the one in stats.
Its a very overpowered combo and by rank 20 perks my doggo is helping me solo groups of four with ease. All it costs me is some dried beef.
I don't know if it's always fresh, but it's not expired when I feed it to him. I like to buy dried meat whenever I can though because it never goes bad.
