Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Zobrazit statistiky:
Surprisingly a whole lot of lack of choice for an RPG in most remotely important quests
I would have liked the option to actually choose whether or not I want to fight for faction X or Y. But I am now at the point where we ambush the convoy with the finger of god and at no point I actually had a choice to make as to who I side with and how. Which was predictable considering the 10s of hours of story before that and how those went.

I am forced to tell Katherine beforehand I cannot just prevent the ambush and see where that goes. The only choice in a main quest I had so far was about killing a character or not but nothing that really matters in any case.
Only one such pseudo choice there was that at first seemingly mattered a lot, but really didn't. I could have sided with the bandits as early as the Semine incident... So I basically could have switched sides a little earlier. That's about all.

I dunno. Kind of breaks the immersion for me in terms of "Roleplaying". Out in the open world I can be whatever I want but it has no consequences whatsoever to this point.

Idk how they’d make a third.

They were originally gonna do a trilogy, but then made the first game longer so it’d fit into two games.

And if the game devs opened up the game to be modded, the community could keep things alive the way they do with Skyrim.
I think as it's currently structured there are to many systems interacting (why everybody is getting soft locked) for truly expansive modding. Your gonna need a more sandboxy/open ended structure for skyrim level modding. EDIT not to mention more modders

What would I need to do, for instance, to bring back the combat system from KCD1? Losing the RB stab button is annoying.

something limited focus like that is more likely, start hitting various mod chat rooms and asking. Still alot of work but not total conversion level

I am not 100% sure about the first game as I didn’t play it yet but in this game stabbing is basically that lower triangular attack area so when you hold the stick down or the mouse down and attack.

so there would be two options either find that action in the code and how to access that particular method that triggers it and bind it to rb input event

or emulate it by binding to rb the actions of stick down/mouse down and RT/left click as some sort of macro

The only person who should be siding with Wenceslas the idle should be Hanush, because they’re basically the same person lmao.
