How to keep clothes?

Is there a way to keep clothes after Henry take them off during swiming, or unarmed combat? I thought that this is relic from years to have always put back my equipement.
And since here is lots of parts of equipement on body and it is mixed up then with items in my inventory, it is crazy to again look for what I have.

You can rent a room at taverns for a personal chest (Not all taverns have a chest)
There is a free bed and chest if you go to blacksmith and forge the first wepaon

Under Henry in the inventory are 3 loadout slots. Use them.

I have them used. 1 for fight, 1 for charisma and 1 for stealth. But when he take action (swiming, fighting) he take off clothes from slot that I have active.

i think this is a bug, a friend of mine has the same problem but every time I've done like boxing matches or anything my characters outfit is put back on after.

Just go into the quest naked before you get drunk and you'll keep all your things. They're in the inventory.

Yes, they stay in inventory. It just frustrating to again put them on. Here are rings, necklace, two items for head, two for neck, coat, armor, two for hands, two for feets, belt, pouch, spurs.
It seems to be bug.

There's multiple points in the game where your loadout is gone, it's likely a bug, and it's very annoying.

Sometimes the game remembers what your loadout slot was, sometimes it doesn't. Frustrating.

yeah it really is frustrating when some cutscene/story event removes your clothes and doesn't put them back on and it wipes the outfit slot out so I have to go back through my stuff and requip everything manually

aye this is rather annoying, but just so you know don't put on clothes straight after a fist fight. step out of the ring and you should have your armour back on. unfortunately the other "story points where your clothes get changed? I can't really help with, just something we'll have to deal with.

This isn't an isolated problem. Apparently the devs have no intention to fix it and some one some where quoted " get used to getting dressed"

They should have made a dev clothes slot. so when they want you in a specific outfit, itd just overite that slot. Rather that overiting a players custom slot, it really annoying
