Do Noble's Plate Legs count as shoes?

The Seven-League Boots reduces the stamina required to sprint if you have self-repaired boots equipped.

The armor "Noble's plate legs" occupies both the shoes and cuisses slot.

Does anyone know if this perk still applies?

I just tested it and no. It looks like the buff requires using the cobbler's kit to repair shoes to activate the buff :(

The Milanese ones seem to count double and take up both slots. The Brunswick ones only take up one slot so you can equip shoes with them.
