I am just saying that the group that you assemble throughout the game feels like a pack of jelly beans. No one really sticks out. They are so different to each other that they seem indifferent. It’s just chaotic and unstructured. Kind of like in Wolfenstein 2. The only characters in Wolfenstein 2 that I cared about were the ones from the first game.
I 100% agree with you. You can put my own gripes with the game better in words than myself.

To be fair, technically it’s not the enemy you join you just didn’t know before that they are on Wenceslas side. And they didn’t know that you were so for the first third of the game you kill each other
