Here’s the thing: I listened and I would still rather not help them. lol

I’d rather help sigismund than any of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I find the characters I came in contact with that are my enemies more interesting than pretty much any of my allies. Aside from Katherine and Godwin maybe.

Oh and also radzig and this Hanush also good. I know them from first game they were interesting.

But you barely ever see them here.

Instead you have a completely random group of people from all sorts of different places and backgrounds speaking different languages that I don’t understand with different accents I don’t know who I couldn’t care less about it almost feels like I was playing some sort of Multi Culti game made by Angela Merkel.

Here's the kicker, Henry is beholden to a lord, so its not up to him.

Try and remember that it was on Sigismund's orders that Skalitz was raised and Henry lost his parents.. and all the other towns and villages that have been destroyed because of Sigismund.

The point of the story is to show that war is not clear cut and there right and wrong on both sides.

Sigismund's camp is also full of people with different languages .... :piglaugh:

I am just saying that the group that you assemble throughout the game feels like a pack of jelly beans. No one really sticks out. They are so different to each other that they seem indifferent. It’s just chaotic and unstructured. Kind of like in Wolfenstein 2. The only characters in Wolfenstein 2 that I cared about were the ones from the first game.

I understand that this is the point, but it's poorly made. None of the Devil's pact or the Samuel behave like "real" people. They're just comic relief, the pole saying kurva, the hungarian making sausages....They're poorly written characters and the message or point of the story is lost.

Hans and Henry forgot super fast, how they almost died a few times, just because Zizka didn't think twice and tried to kill em as soon as he saw them. Suddenly Godwin shows up and we're all best buddies, which is some real mental gymnastics, even if we server the same king, this is not plausible....there should've been more time spent trying to forgive or learn about it all.

Heck even Zizka explains, why he killed his own man, to show the rest that civilians are off limits, even though they were under Otto. and suddenly let's burn and kill all the villagers of a friendly lords estate, so we can distract the guards. No sense.

The story felt rushed and bloated by cutscenes and irrelevant dialogues.

I 100% agree with you. You can put my own gripes with the game better in words than myself.

Wow, whole story don't make sense, I hadn't play KCD 2 yet, as I still playing KCD 1 as I am not done with story yet, but reading this, make me worried that story messed up and not making sense. join enemies and be friend with enemies that kill your loved one? that don't seem right.

To be fair, technically it’s not the enemy you join you just didn’t know before that they are on Wenceslas side. And they didn’t know that you were so for the first third of the game you kill each other
