Aye, Marvart von Aulitz was doing exactly the same thing as them. yet he is bad they good. THey're killing their own people, innocent villagers, without remorse....but we're supposed to like them....
Now that there is DEI, ♥♥♥♥ story, recycled game, still buggy because recycled but worse.
All the streamers playing a niche tells you a story of advertising being the main focus of warhorse.
There are games made by small teams that are great. The first KCD 1 was amazing, the story was great and the characters were all very well written. This one feels like a 12 year old wrote it. If I could I would've sided with Sigismund, he was very generous and cool in the game.
Why would I want to be a part of a bunch of murderers?
In the first scene we see Zizka, he kills one of his own men to defend an innocent woman and later on, he orders us to kill an entire village....where is the logic?
It's almost as if the game explains to you why, and who they are fighting for, and how you are also fighting for the same reason.
It's crazy how stories work.
Yes, we know that the game has offended you and it lives rent free in your head as you whine about as often as possible instead of being able to move on.

Doesn't change anything at all. They are bandits, have been bandits their whole life. Raiding, murdering, pillaging, burning villages and proud of it. Just because they have chosen to work for our side right now doesn't make it right.
katherine is by far the best, spymaster. sad backstory, powerful without being op char. smart.
i also like kubyenka, or what's his face. not sure why but he grown on me.
i enjoyed the old experienced man way to negotiate of godwin. was fun.
musa is a little bit too much.
i did enjoy his character, and it makes sense his backstory and his situation in siggy camp, but i feel like after the italian hang gestures his seat at the table is not earned.
just to clarify i'm not on the side of omg black person in bohemia let me throw a temper tantrum of disgusting hate about it, just that the ultimate evolution feels unearned.
capon has a nice evolution, funny as hell. can't catch a break always in deep ♥♥♥♥.
and i can't believe how much i've missed the direct and overwhelmingly strong and funny hanush and papa kurva-byla.
overall 9.5/10
can't wait for DLCs
And that literally how it worked back in those days, that's what lords did to each other and their land.
The French even had a word for it; chevauchée.
If you want to see how bad they got, just look at the Black Prince's chevauchée of 1355 in Fance.
This is why war and conflict was so devastating back then.
No need to look that far back. It's how it works now. The methods are just more refined and civilized. Well most of the time at least.
But again from a normal player perspective who doesn't choose to role play as psychopath it simply takes next level mental gymnastics to justify participating in this. It feels wrong to me.
The point of it all is to show how bad both sides can be, it's not a black and white situation.
The actions fit the times, and Zizka, the Dry Devil and Co are all fighting for Wenceslaus, even if it seems brutal, its just how it was.
If you could re-write it, what would you have Henry doing instead? Or who would he fight for/with?
