The option is there I can even mouse click hold and instead of triggering it, it just outright completes transaction.
I know KCD mechanics better than you and if haggling is disabled it will outright be blackened but it's not. I also can easily tell it's a bug because at times the reference and values for things are misplaced or coded wrong because they copy and pasted stuff for generic blacksmith NPCs in kuttenberg. It's very likely that the blacksmith in the Sudoul town is bugged, not the other ones though since interactions goes through their script files, and perhaps they ended up putting 'finish transaction' as part of haggle.
I mean I had to mod the game to fix the Knight's Sword recipe bug where you don't get the recipe for using said item you buy, because the devs completely forgot to include the reference to it.
You'd be surprised how similar the DB and XML data system is similar to Bethesda games, with the use of reference IDs and such, that there is so many entry to maintain that the devs might overlook some.
Now I gotta go to other merchants elsewhere to see if this is exclusive to blacksmiths, or if all haggling got disabled.
UPDATE: I went to a trader in another town to sell food and the haggle works. It's Suchdol that's bugged.
