Cant forge sir Valentine sword

I tries 5 times and allway fail.
I have Martin perk.
I never fail to forge any weapon but this Valentine sword mission imposible. Is this bug or i doint something wrong ?

I have forged multiple copies of the sword. (PS5) So it does work. Maybe craftsman skill to low?

Had you problems with forging Brunswick's poleaxe from pre-order DLC?

Try going down the sword and back in very small movements, (1/2 inch at a time) then flip sword over and repeat process. Reheat sword then repeat same steps.

Till Valentine sword i didnt have any problem with forginy anything. Everything in first try.

Yes i try in small movement but after half done Hennry start complaining and soon after that it say failed.

It's a bug - sometimes swords (both) are always getting too many mistakes even without them. The only way to fix is 10x mod, but be patient - sometimes even it doesn't work

I don't think flipping the sword does anything. I forged Sir Valentine Sword without it. It's actually easier because you can mantain the rhytm longer.
