Getting a Horse

At the beginning of the game, is it possible to get or steal a horse? If you steal it, how do you register the horse to put you in the clear? Or do you just walk for a while? Thanks.

Little spoiler, after the prolog you end up in Troskowitz and have 2 main story quests, going to the Miller or the Smith. At this point you can just go straight southwest to Semine village and the horse trader there has your horse (free with speech check) or you can buy a new one.

You can already start to level thievery / stealth in Troskowitz at this point with a free sleeping place at the smiths house -> after maybe 2 rounds in the village you should be able to steal the vendor chests (very hard checks) and just buy a good horse and call it a day.

@Zaris, thank you very much! I thought it to be pretty stupid to be walking everywhere since Henry is already a Knight.
