Smithing swords problem

Before I reached Kuttenberg I had no issue smiting Henry lvl swords and axes. But now that I have lvl 30 in craftsmanship and even use the potion to increase it even more, I have problem with smiting swords/sabres... no issue with axes and horseshoes.
Did you notice something similar? I am following guides and I made Henry lvl swords before so I know how to do it, but now it seems impossible. Basically half of them brake and the second half is low tier.

Strange, i crafted a lot and never one was breaking, just make sure that the steal is always hot and hammer at different locations (never 2 times at the same spot) + turning the weapon arround. I have some skills that makes crafting easier and even let me craft master weapons.

I know how to craft and I crafted lvl4 wepons before. But I am unable do do it now 😑

Patch 1.2:

"Blacksmithing
- Generally rebalanced the blacksmithing minigame."
So you may have gotten lucky before.

have the same problem since update Henry has level 30 crafting but fails all the smithing short swords

Same here. Level 30 in crafting does nothing. The game never tells me what I'm doing wrong either.
So, maybe I could try for a few hours, finally get lucky, and forge my St-Valentine tier 4 sword. Or I maybe I could consider that life is short, games should be fun and just use a console command.
I've made my choice.

I use a mod that prevents mistakes during blacksmithing and I’m pretty happy with it.
If that’s not your thing because you count it as cheating, enjoy the stupid minigame.

There's a bug for-sure. Crafted 5 tier 4 Executioner axes in a row Then tried the noble sword 6 times and all came out tier 3. Never had anything break and swords are the easiest thing to craft in my opinion so idk
