I picked it up at the very start and it never respawned.
The "Weighted Die" was the best Die in the Game. It has a 66.7% Chance of a 1.
There's nothing even worth comparing.
Or what do you think is the Reason why the Devs removed its respawn?
Because it was to broken.
Yeah there's the Meme-Die from the Monthy Python Movie which always rolls a 3, but that's neither Fun nor realistic. So the Weighted Die not respawning is a pretty big deal for us in the KCD-Farkle Community. D:
Well, as you said, St. Antiochus (x6) IS the best in game and it's not even cheating as it's in the game own mechanics and items and you can only steal it or buy it or loot it. Is it realistic btw, that there's a chest in the start which grows same items in it to farm
It's not about the Method of aquisation of a Die. They can be as difficult or challenging as the Devs want them to be.
It's about the Fun when playing Farkle.
There's no Fun in a 100% Chance of winning.
It's the same as if you would use a Mod that wins you Farkle by pressing a button.
If you can't lose, what's even the Point of playing the Game?
You play Farkle and if you lose you have to win your money and your badges back or if you can't manage you have to steal them back if you gambled away your unique badges like the Wedding Badge before their Inventory resets.
the majority of the Dice in the Game are loaded. And everyone inside the Game and outside knows this, but if you're so obviously cheating by using 6x St. Antiochus' Die even the dumbest Person would see through you and have you arrested.
Of course, as of Patch 1.2.1, the A.I. does not accuse you of cheating yet.
So you can abuse this Method as much as you want, but again my Question stands:
"Where's the Fun in a 100% Chance of winning?"
Imagine your Opponent would always mimic your Dice and a Coinflip would determine which Player starts.
Would you play 6x St. Antiochus' Die if you know that you are 100% guaranteed to lose if the Coin flips on Tails?
Probably not. Why? Because it won't be fun.
It's a Meme-Die and it's really a shame that you can aquire 6 of them and aren't punished for using them.
Yeah, they're amongst my Favourite.
With a 43.7% Chance on 5, and an 18.6% Chance on 1 & 6.
Pretty easy to aquire too, as you've said.
They also look very nice and are great if you pair them with Devil's Head Die
and/or the Lu-, Ci-, Fer Die as they all share the same colors.
The Lucifer Dice are only slightly loaded with a 34.8% Chance on rolling a 6. (6.6.6. xD)
And the Devil's Head Die is a normal Die, unloaded. But has the Iconic Devil's Head aka. the Wildcard Symbol.
Using those 5 Sets of Dice feels like building a Deck in a TCG. xD
Also, if the dice game is meant to play without cheating, just play with plain dice, molar, premolar etc. Any other dice use is cheating. 😏
