Hunger and Despair quest became unplayable after patch 1.2

Companions put away their weapons or die immediately and I'm left to fight 20+ guys on my own. I've reloaded so many times

I've been seeing people talk about this everywhere, on Reddit too and everyone says it's broken as ♥♥♥♥. I've been at it for several hours at this point, managed to knock down all 4 ladders with the most insane potion buffs but even then I died because of the enemies that already managed to climb up. its driving me crazy.

I have run into the same issue now and can't progress. I've logged a bug report, but hoping the devs pick this one up quickly.

It’s gamebreaking. It was such a fun game up to this point. Hope it gets fixed. Would love to finish the game. Might have to watch YouTube otherwise to at least know the ending.

I’m having this exact issue but on PS5! (I also have the PC version and was able to get past this part previously pre 1.2 update) I managed to get all 4 ladders down but the cutscene that is supposed to trigger will not, leaving me to fend off a swarm of enemies causing Henry to die quickly! The Diehard perk is helpful for a bit but still Henry doesn’t last very long. I have heard Restarting the PS5 should fix but it doesn’t for me. I’m not sure if restarting will fix it for PC too.

I just got this game, the way it is made is horrible. I hit a dog 100 times and it didn't die. I also cant save my game in the alchemy, i'm being attacked by the guards even when I'm doing nothing, just making potions. My game keeps freezing. It sucks.

you are being attacked by guards, because you are violating somebody's property... you cannot just enter somebody's home willy nilly... you can use Alchemy bench outside of house in Troskowitz, YET you cant use it during night.. if guard sees you, he will tell you to leave the property! same applies if you dont carry torch.

I know the rules the game is over power is crop.....
