maybe fixing bugs 1st?
na.. cant be... because some people demand other stuff
Translated :
OP has no self control, and so wants the developers to place hard restrictions on their gameplay so that they don't "cheat", because they are incapable to stopping themselves from using fast travel...
Sorry OP, but I always find this sort of reasoning rather hilarious and it makes me think of people who blame police when they get a ticket for their own dumb decisions, etc...
Any idea why they don't release it with the game? makes no sense to me.
Honestly the original KCD had the best hardcore mode ever seen in any video game.
The way they made it ultra realistic with no icons on the map showing where you were, no icons showing where to go, just landmarks you had to visually look around for and use to navigate the world. You could actually get lost in KCD, which made the journey all the more realistic, immsersive, and ultimately rewarding.
Plus the negative perks were really fun and creative. Like sleepwalking so you wake up in random places with no clue where you are.
We just need to be patient. I have to agree with the general consensus that polishing the game and fixing bugs is far more important at the moment.
1.) in KCD1 statistics says, 0,9% of all players finished Ultra Hardcore
2.) less then 20% of buyers play offline sometimes
3.) hovering over the avatar picture of OP says, he has 0 hours in this game
So he wants to tell, that he is one of the 1,1% that even doesn't take hits and does not die. He is representing maybe 0,2% of the player base. He is basically more rare then the LGBTQ community in real life and/or KCD2.
You can put any restrictions you want on yourself for your game without the game forcing you, I’m trying a run without robbing anyone and being a good Christian, I don’t need a game mode to force me to play this way I just do for fun.
I also hope we get more achievements for the game too tied to hardcore like we did in the first.
And don't you go quoting Mark Twain on me.
Put -devmode in the game launch option to access console command, and when you are in the game, type wh_sys_GameModeSelecting = 1 into the command, then choose to start an new game, you can then start the game in hardcore mode.
