Unable to find Goatskin.

So I am struck on this quest where I am unable to find Goatskin. Any way to resolve this?

Anyone had problem with this quest should rollback to previous game version, all the patch fixes not worth the bugs they introduced in-game

Maybe, but I don't want to waste hours of gameplay for nothing... They should work faster! There are games with fewer resources that fix this kind of flaw quickly.

I agree with you.The game was bought with our money.It has sold over 2 million copies.The developers must fix all the bugs in the game.We were buying a quality product.

I am suffrring this bug since the update, unfortunately i was EXACTLY in the middle of the goatskin part… the first couple of ingame days UDO remained inside the bathhouse at the dice table (instead of going home).
Now i spent almost an in-game week doing other stuff, the UDO icon is permanently in an area of the city i can’t reach in any possible way, is inside buildings with fake/shutted doors. (These buildings are in front of the bathhouse, that little courtyard with bench and trees but no access to buildings).
I was manage to re-talk about goatskin with the ladies, re-talk with Mary and this time she told me where the hideout is… but… no goatskin..
Fight with Golia is now broken i give him money to bet and then it fades to black and we are again in front of each other in the same place and he walk away. No fight (and lose 10 groshrn every time)
Can’t find the other guy who was lookin for goatskin and his toys… (i found a book in goatskin hideout).
Please somebody find a solution. Hype is dying it was a great game untill the bugs this is a big shame

What you can try is to complete this mission in game version 1.1.2. You have to download the old version from steamdb:

- Navigate to the website steamdb/app/1771300/depots/
- Open the link steam://nav/console in a browser to enable the steam console
- You need the following depots: 1771303 (Main game files), 1771302 (Games executable), Your language pack (1771305 - 1771309 or 3118101; You only need one)

- In these depots navigate to `Manifests` (After you selected a depot there will be sidebar on the left)

- Select the copy format `Steam console`
- Choose the `ManifestID` before the update on 13th of march and click the copy button in the last column of row

- Go back to the steam console and paste copy result and hit enter
- Download the three depots (the downloads will be located in your steam apps/content/app_1771300 directory where steam is installed; in my case that was under `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1771300`)

- Locate your kcd2 installation folder and make a backup of it
- Empty the existing `KingdomComeDeliverance2` folder
- Launch steam into offline mode to prevent any update happening
- Copy the contents! of the folders located in steamapps\content\app_1771300 into the `KingdomComeDeliverance2` installation folder

- Lauch the game through steam
- If you want to continue with version 1.2: Rename your backed up kcd2 install folder back to `KingdomComeDeliverance2` and that should be it

Well thank you. It looks like something ahead of my knoledge and it looks like is something i can mess up entirely, plus even you say “i can try” so i guess there is no guarantee. Anyway thank you. I think i will wait a bit more (advancing even more in game with side quest and exploration and makin my save file even more precious) and if nothing happens in the next week in terms of solid fix by warhorse, i will try this method🤷🏻‍♂️

He's in the same place all the time. Hes sat in the loft next to the pub in western kuttenburg.. you have to climb through a few buildings to get to him

No, it's more complicated. It's a problem for a lot of people. It doesn't appear.

Is there a debug command to teleport the player right to the NPC actor? (not the hideout location).

You need to get the german drunk or something, and convince him to go home
