Patch broke Radzig's Sword worse...

Like the title says, have tried every way imaginable to improve it (craftsmanship skill is maxed) and the sword can never be forged higher than tier 1.

Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disappointing that the entire reason Henry is so gung ho to find these bastards and get revenge is not getting the love it deserves from the devs.

That being said: It's just a visual bug, the stats are improved DRAMATICALLY (260+ Slashing and Piercing after reforging), the tier 1 next to the sword doesn't even display after being reforged. Haha

I have to mention that with this update my computer is having some serious skipping issues which has made blacksmithing all but impossible for me. I have also noticed that for some reason this game seems to trip a whole slew of windows updates and installers to run in the background. This is the only game that does this. I have tried updating all my drivers and clean and defraging but to no avail. I am starting to wonder if this is a warhorse launcher issue or pros or something else.

Does Henry ever comment after forging a weapon? You could be overcooking the metal, hitting against cold steel, or unevenly striking the weapon.

"Sadly" can be done, but with no room for error even at max skill with pot and apron. I tried it dozens of times and I made two instead of one(bug probably), but it was weird as hell, worse feeling from that attempt(got a little cold at the end etc) than previous one that failed.

Never says anything, just whistles. When it is ready to be done he says "time to temper" or something along those lines. No mistakes

What's crazy is I forged a knights sword right before at tier 4 and it completely blows Radzig's sword out of the water damage wise. It has to be a bug of some sort

I still prefer the T4 Basilard. I find that the Longsword master strike animations take too long .

Yeah, just reforged it for fun. Got it tier 4 first time. Easy.

I decided to make a save and try to craft it.
This is my first playthrough save where I have finished game.
I reloaded and tried 5 times.
Out of 5 times, 3 times I made tier 3 and 1 time tier 2 and 1 time tier 4.
Funnily enough, in my successful attempt of getting tier 4, I not only burned it but also did not even flip it once.
I have noticed two bugs. One is obviously getting two swords.
Another is when you see the stats after finishing the quenching animation, it always shows the highest tier stats. Even when I made a tier 2 one, it showed tier 4 stats and in my inventory, it showed the proper stats.

So sadly Op, others are correct. It is unfortunately a skill issue.
