owned beds bug

i launched KCD2 today and after a while wanted to get Henry to rest and saved in kuttenburg inn bed which i've owned for a while know and when enetring my room i get kicked out as its a private area. i double check with the tavern owner and it shows i do own that bed. so far it seem glitched with all other beds except for devil's den.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes, basically everyone.. sadly it's one of the major issues of the new patch

I posted about this as well. I just checked kcd 2, half the rooms at inns are just blocked by an un-pickable and un-openable door, the other half you get trespassed in. This is after the big patch then the small one today. After the 1st big parch the issues occurred. Then I checked again after the follow-up patch they put out, same issue. It's NOT just you. Everyone, as Mastro Lindo mentioned, is having this issue. Or, at least everyone i've talked to, is having the issues.

Yep you're not alone, same for me. If you try to ask somewhere else for a room, is the option also gone for you ?
I tried to take a save that I made before getting in kuttenberg, but I don't want to catch up my 30h I spent since....and the only place where I can ask for a room is in the same Inn......
I know someone who bought a stay in another building and he has no pb at all....good for him....

These are my results checking both maps of which are working for me.
Note: I have every bed bought or unlocked on both maps.
These problems with locked out bedrooms occurred on my second playthrough started btw prepatch and patches 1.2-1.2.1 with full game completion. so the problems came from the patch updates.


** 7 out of 10 are working for me In the Trosky region that are not marked as private areas, or able to sleep & save in atleast.
After game completion Trosky Castle is no longer a sleep & save bed, but I have slept there after using the bathhouse.
Zelejov Inn is marked as private. GameKeeper Varel's top loft is marked as private.

/working beds Trosky region
1 - Bozhena/Palvenas cabin bed that Hans recovered in. Location: In Herbwoman Bozhena's hut. Unlocked by: Complete the main quest Fortuna

2 - Tachov Blacksmith's room offered with Bed and personal Items box , given from his questline. * BUT the door is locked without ability to open/unlock-lockpick. you must use teleport INTO bedroom and open it from the inside, with cmd - goto 1997 2484 115.5
Unlocked by: Completing side quest The Blacksmith's Son.

3- Tachov Tavern. bought from Tavern Inkeeper Prochek. way behind the tavern in the second small animal shack, up the ladder. framed straw bed.

4 - Miller Krezyl's Mill. room offered from starting his questline. Up the ladder at the very top loft, the framed straw bed on the ground with personal Items box. Unlocked by: Side Quest Materia Prima

5 - GameKeeper Vostatek near Vidlak pond, the hay stack on the ground in the animal shack next to his house. Unlocked by: Completing Lackey

6 - Nomads Camp in the red Tent offered to you after completing the quests there. Bed to the left of the chest, in tent. Tibor's bed is on the right. Unlocked by: Giving Gejza a proper burial in the side quest "Miri Fajta".

7 - Troskowitz Tavern, straw bed behind the wagon. shack building to the east, in the tavern lot.

//Kuttenberg region//
Kuttenburg region seems to have the most broken sleeping quarters. for me atleast..

Suchdol, both beds worked for me in the fortress castle and at the town tavern during game's story.
After game completion you can sleep in the ruins of Suchdol fortress in the bathhouse room but you need to pick the lock, and its not a sleep & save. the town is in ruins so the sleeping in the bed in the tavern is not possible.

After game completion you can sleep in the ruins of Maleshov fortress there is alot of sleeping spots. benches and other beds on the floor but also they are not sleep & save.


/working beds in Kuttenberg region

*Miskowitz town Tavern. way at the back in a tiny shed with no door with a wreath above the entrance. a framed hay bed on the ground,

*Grund town Tavern. ladder up to the loft in the shed next to the tavern. hay stack on the ground

*Bylanny town Tavern up the stairs in the shed loft. framed hay bed on the ground.

*Danemark. Ladder Upper floor of the cow stable in Danemark. Unlocked by: Talk to Miller's wife Pavlena. After completing Quest Tragedy in Danemark.

*Ruins of Zimburg. bed and personal belonging chest. Unlocked by: After the quest Bellatores, the two Brothers of Zimburg.

*Devils Den. Hans and Henry's bedroom. But occasionally its locked with easy tier lockpicking


//City of Kuttenburg// *The inner city of Kuttenburg is the worst for me.. all sleep quarters are broken/locked - or marked as private, except one.

*Kuttenberg Swordfighting Brotherhood in upper attic area, bed with wreath and items box. but only after doing the Menharts Ars Dimicatoria quest.

The Hole in The Wall Tavern is not marked as private for me, but its totally locked out with no prompt to open/or lockpick.
but you can use this teleport command with these values to get into it.

My first full game completion playthrough was started at launch day and completed prior to any updates, and that was the best and smoothest playthrough with no problems at all. beds and everything working.

My current third playthrough was started day after 1.2.1 patch and all beds are working so far with no problems.

Yah, in Kuttenberg only the Fechthalle bed is working, rest is either private or the doors are locked (blocked).

Luckily I didn't rent every room on the Kuttenburg map before this update! I was able to secure some lodgings, but like the rest of you the room's I did rent before the update are now trespassing area's! What makes me laugh is how this even passed QA! Time to patch the patch!
