Stuck on loading screen after first cut scene

Anyone else having an issue where you are stuck on a loading screen after first cut screen on a new game start.

Quit the game, there is another 6gb update. I just tried to start a new game and had the same issue, then quit and let it update and it's working fine now.

im not talking about the main menu issue

After you choose new game in the main menu you see cut scenes of a battle then it goes to a loading screen and nothing

If it has been answered before I cant find it.

hi, have you found a solution to this? currently stuck at the infinite loading screen past the first siege scene as well when starting a new game

After downloading the new patch my game is now stuck at the main menu screen, but without an actual menu. Its just a live forest back ground. Anyone know how to fix this?

when the notification for barber shows up, click the ESC key on your keyboard instead of clicking it on the screen with your mouse. it seems to be the fix for most people

Mine goes straight to black after the introductory opening scenes. The barber screen only showed up the first time I started the game after patching. I am hoping War Horse will release a hot fix soon.

I finally got A new game to start. I uninstalled the game, did a full reboot and then installed the game again. Now it woks just fine. Before that I tried updating drivers, verifying game files, adjusting graphic settings and everything else I could think of. These things may or may not have helped out.
