Steam deck problem after update

After the new ''patch'' I cant use mouse in the menu, map, or anything besides fighting and looking around. I have my deck connected to my monitor, mouse and keyboard and everything worked just like on pc before the patch. Altho now, the game showes controller icons, rather thatn keyboard, mouse ones. In the map, I have to use the buttons on my deck, just to use it. it really sucks. turning steam input off didnt help, neither did desktop mode. any solutions?

This is the fix! For anybody else playing on steam deck with mouse and keyboard, go to game options next to the controller icon on the game page, click “properties” and then under launch options, type “SteamDeck=0 %command% --force-grab-cursor” without quotes to force the game to ignore the steam deck controller.

I've done this and it doesn't work idk why it seems I'm magically the only person that this doesn't work for can't figure out why this is just so frustrating
(It just crashes never makes it to the game)

Edit: it was cause it was modded didn't know why that was the issue stupid but hey figured it out just took a day
