Does goatskin exist in new version?

Well i and many others have noticed that we cant progress in story because goatskin is nowhere to be found, he will not rob dice player or you if you try to lure him... I heard about fix by loading save and trying again with katarina but that is about 15-20 of my gameplay hours ago... only thing i haven't tried is to find him randomly in a city, which was also one of the quest solutions. is it possible that in this bugged phase of this bugged quest, he is walking around in a city? Or he is despawned and we can only wait for the fix?

I haven't tried to lure him out. I did won all the money of the dice player and he went home, i followed and goarskin didn't appear. Maybe you have to lose to the dice player and follow him while he has a full purse and maybe then goatsking will attack.
But i tit threaten the bath wench who is his girlfiend and she told me where he is, actually explored that area and just missed to go in that particular place. So i found him there hiding.

This is how you find goat skin:

I had to revert back to the save of “Into the Underworld - Talk to Katherine.” That should be a HARD SAVE from the game it self. From there follow this process.

Go to the hole in wall

talk to the man at the table

fight Goliath (and win)

when you have to speak to the guy from the table after the fight ask him about “Goatskin” and only about goatskin

then tell him you’ll will talk to him later about his side quest

then run to “Goatskins” hideout and he should be in the corner of his little hut

u cant find him unless u load ur last save before the quest even start, but the warhorse team already know about this bug and they are working to fix it. Until there, Goatskin is vanished from the game.

if u are in the same cenario as me that will lost 15 to 20 hours of game, just do something else until they fix it

good to know, thank you. i was just hoping that someone may find him stuck somewhere, but that is unlikely :/

Yeah - same boat here... He is not in his bed or that area in the barn. I can't get him to lure out. Idk what else to do.
