I found how to fix it.

I had to revert back to the save of “Into the Underworld - Talk to Katherine.” That should be a HARD SAVE from the game it self. From there follow this process.

Go to the hole in wall

talk to the man at the table

fight Goliath (and win)

when you have to speak to the guy from the table after the fight ask him about “Goatskin” and only about goatskin

then tell him you’ll will talk to him later about his side quest

then run to “Goatskins” hideout and he should be in the corner of his little hut

Thank you, appreciate your message! Unfortunately reverting back to that save file means losing LOT of progress i was doing elsewhere, in my case is really a lot. That’s not a good solution. :-(((((

Does it make sense to wait for a solution to this problem from Warhorse? Or is it advisable to load old preservations with the loss of the gameplay?

you can't refund at 50 hours but this is definitely a huge oversight for the first patch.

Yes i agree with you. In the meantime i have some side quest but it’s a mess with the main story locked, and not in a good point i would say. My hype is going down…
Anyway for what i understand goatskin is bugged because is part of a side quest from some guy that asked me to find the stuff goatskin stole.
Now i went on the hangman tavern spoke with Katherine again and basically she advise the same two options about luring goatskin. No help. i went through another night yelling in those streets. Nothing. Painfull bug
