What is better ? DLSS 4 Convolutional or Transformer ?
Can someone explain what would be better to pick or what you picked ?

i will say though, that ever since patch 1.2 came out i've noticed theres more ghosting/auras and more pop-up of assets when rounding a corner or looking around quickly. i think DLSS was at its best before patch 1.2 with the nvidia app override (or the swapper), i set the in-game antialiasing to none, put DLSS to quality with 0 sharpening, and it looked so nice, framerate was at refresh cap on High

im pretty sure Bumblebee is better DLSS

Transformer looks better but it is more demanding. It's on you.

You're so right, now I think I need glasses, everything's blurry. It's become unplayable for me.

The DLSS Transformer model is the latest version. It is a bit slower than the Convolutional models (larger performance hit on 20 and 30 series cards) but generally produces a more detailed image with better temporal stability and fewer issues with ghosting, trailing artifacts, and moire. It's a huge improvement in many cases.

Transformer looks better but has a performance cost of about 5% compared to CNN. If you have the performance to spare, always use transformer. It's significantly better.
It's actually so much better in my experience, that even using Transformer model at Balanced mode compared to the old Convolutional model at quality mode, the new model actually looks better, at least at 4k upscaling. It doesn't lose significant image quality until stepping it down to performance mode in my experience. It basically gets rid of the awful TAA blur that every single AAA game has had in the last decade.

For 1440p, quality mode actually looks on par with native, whereas with the old model you could still tell the image was being upscaled with fuzzy details and a slight loss of clarity upon close inspection, though it wasn't a big deal once a game was in motion when you're actually playing it.

So the consensus is, transformer has better visuals but more demanding?

just google it, you would find your answer 100% faster
