Issues with Butchering animals

I can't seem to butcher any animal in the game. When I kill any animal, the buttons on the side are Rob and Butcher. But there is no button to Butcher. And any time I rob the animal, all it does is give me my arrow back.

killed and butchered a couple of wolves earlier to day after the patch................works for me at least.

Can't remember bot don't you need a dagger or whatever equipped ?

I have the same issue and Brunswicks dagger equipped.

On PC butcher got moved from hold E to hold F so if console maybe check your binds

I'm on PC, but hold F doesn't work either.

for me is butcher broken too, it show me that i can butcher but the button is empty.

I had the same thing, after I deleted all mods and checked the file integrity it worked again.

this is exactly what i was experiencing too. i also have the brunswick dagger equipped.

Same issue here, it looks like that patch 1.2 did it.

try to delete or update US2 mod, it helped me

Update to the latest US2 mod. That solved this issue as well as not being able to navigate through the barber menu. I assume most problems here reported on steam are related to that. After installing the latest US2 mod, everything worked fine again.
