Mutt is so stupid
This dog doesn't shut up, it's annoying as hell. The only reason I have him with me is because I wanna max my character.

As a side note: I also find it annoying that the sprint button isn't a toggle on the horse... Why do we have to keep hitting the button?

The games great, I love it, so these two things stick out like a sore thumb to me.

I'd be happy if mutt would stop crossing my walking path all the time, it literally zigzags 20cm in front of you all the time. And if you go into a building to steal, mutt will sit outside the door attracting guards and barking... lol

So yeah, would be nice if it was improved a bit!
I hate to say it, but I spent the second half of the game without Mutt. I wanted to like Mutt, but he's just too much of a nuisance. I hope Warhorse works on that.

Yeah ♥♥♥♥ mutt. between being in my way all the damn time, giving me away during stealth, and his damn barking all the time, I told him go to HOME.

mutt was completely ported over from KCD1, it is a tid bit less problematic, but not by much - in KCD1 it was impossible to move around without having mutt blocking the way almost 100% of the time, at least now it only happens when you are walking instead of running.

He keeps out of your way much better if you command him to be "free".

But then he finds things to bark at more often, so it's a lose lose lol.

I didn't bother with Mutt in KCD1 for the same exact reasons, I'm thinking someone will release a mod to change his behaviour (or at least mute him).

I'm crossing my fingers for a "Mute Mutt" mod!

feed your dog. he starts barking all the time when he's starving
The problem I had with Mutt was the fact that, in most fights, even if you order him to attack a target, he keeps spinning around the enemy as if he were going to create a tornado and, when you decide to attack the target, he simply gets in front of you and takes the attack along with the enemy.

I did notice he tends to work better in fights if you let him "free" and avoid issuing commands altogether, or, if you command the attack before engaging / entering "combat mode" - there were also some people who believe that one of the Houndmaster perks causes a massive behavior bug on Mutt permanently, but I can't remember which. - what I know is that taking Lethean and not activating said perk seemed to fix the dog for most people, but you gotta do some googling to see which was the broken perk, possibly it still is broken... I think it was either the "Hunt" perk or the "search" perk.

Hate the mutt commands.
People letting Mutt starve not saying what a good boy he is and complaining about him barking. Just feed your dog give him a little praise from time to time. If you're sneaking in buildings just tell him to say outside. I've never had any issues with Mutt

did you let Dry Devil have his way during the siege?

He was super annoying in KCD1 - constantly barking for no reason, in KCD2 however, he's a super useful ally and when he barks, you oughta pay attention.

PS: major spoiler alert
You can eat him towards the end of the game but he still returns.... he's such a good doggy
Mutt is cool if you are a kind and sensible master.
