INFINITE LOADING

Similar, after new barber info appears, upon escape the main page never appears; a "painting" stays up indefinately.

the game doesnt read inputs correctly, you cant just mouse click on the escape icon on the barbershop slash screen , use the keyboard, should work if not ctrl+alt+del out and shut it down in task manager, restart the game and it should put on the landing page, just terrible control scheme

I managed to get past that barber info screen issue by doing what others have said. Closing the game with Alt+F4 and then relaunching the game.

But after relaunching and getting past the opening cinematic, it becomes an infinite black loading screen (with the castle icon).

I'm coming into the game fresh, so I never had the option to not download the latest patch.

Same here. I can get to the main menu after hitting ESC to get past the barber shop screen, but then when I hit "Continue" the game just loads forever. The little circle fills up, but it just stalls there and never actually loads the game...faaaaaasadkjdkgjflkfah.

Edit: I do not have any mods installed, btw.

Hmmm, I solved the infinite loading problem on my end simply by loading an earlier game. For whatever reason, my latest save wouldn't load after the patch, but the one prior to that did. Soooo.... hope that helps somebody!

yeah i got the infinite black screen with the castle icon too.

What finally worked for me was when I moved my game folder to my SSD. The black loading screen loaded so fast for me and I was immediately in the middle of the next scene.
