(FIXED) No menu being displayed after loading the game since the new patch

Fix used to resolve issue courtesy of Canard:
Try relaunching the game and when the barber screen shows up hit the esc key on your keyboard. Do not click on the button at the bottom of the screen

I've just loaded the game up after the 1.2 barber patch and now I have a lovely view of the road into Kuttenburg but no menu whatsoever.

Didn't work for me, then verified game files. now my save is gone. PLEASE BACK UP YOUR SAVES BEFORE VERIFYING PLEASE.
