Several downgrades/issues after patch
I just installed the new 1.2 patch and did some quick testing. I noticed immediately that performance is far worse. I was previously running ultrawide resolution 3840x1600 at 173-175 FPS with DLSS in quality mode, now I'm seeing only about 115-120 FPS typically.

Another issue I noticed right away is that my running speed is completely messed up. My normal walk speed is very slow now (I'm not encumbered presently) and activating the sprint feature essentially makes me walk at a brisk pace.

At least you can play. No one else on my friends list or I can even get into the game. Just locks up now.
I have to suggest deleting shaders cache.

I just tried deleting cache, did not work. I'm going to fully reinstall the game and see what it does
The same , from stable 120 fps drop to 90-70
I also saw a 25% or so reduction in framerate but I think it's a vegetation/shadows issue as per a reddit post. Seems ri have fixed it for me just setting those to Ultra.. but it sucks because I was running Experimental at 120fps before. Now it's experimental/ultra at like 115

Same here...Went from 140FPS+
(Ultra Settings | DLSS set on QUALITY | Resolution 5120x1440)
using RTX4090 to 75FPS+ :steamsad:

4090 with 7800X3D and went from 140 fps average to 115 on DLSS performance mode, 85-90 on Balanced mode at 4K res.

I was running 4K with DLSS performance, all ultra, textures and volumetric experimental, and had comfortable vsynced 60fps everywhere.

Now after patch with the same settings I get drops to 40s in nature areas and it is a stutterfest.

Dropping preset to high fixes it. But it is strange, I wonder what happened. Hopefully there will be hotfix soon.

Lower vegetation details to low. That did the trick for me.

When a patch make it more worse then before..well done..hope they fix this mess patch asap
So quick update, after the patch that was installed overnight my performance is nearly back up to where it was previously. I still find that I can't sprint however. I tried lowering my inventory weight by moving stuff to my horse and passing time to ensure I wasn't drunk but the issue persists for some reason.

I loaded again and drank a hair of the dog potion in case there was a hangover effect, but that had no effect. I also removed my mods folder to test as well, but I still can't sprint. I basically can't play until I get this solved so I'll have to keep hammering away. I might try uninstalling and reinstalling the game at some point as a final option.

I finally went ahead and reinstalled the game and thankfully that fixed the issue with being unable to sprint.

I noticed a visual degrade as well, namely more texture pop in and npcs appearing. I'm on a 4090 / 14900k so I wasn't having any issues before, but I bet this is a side effect of improving the performance for our brothers and sisters with older rigs.
