I like the options of NG+, and if KCD2 offered one I wouldn't complain if it was optional. I think it's not overrated and sorta wished more games had it. I'd love to see the Ghost Recon games having the option, especially Breakpoint. But then with some games, I will downright stop playing the game before the ending because the game lacks either an open world or a NG+. It took me all the way up to the release of KCD2 before I finished KCD1 because I refused to play the game to completion just to know I lose all of my progress and the open world at the end. Same goes for Dragon Age Veilguard, because so many of the collectables and gear upgrades are tedious to find and many or even locked in limited time areas like quest locations - I refuse to finish the game because there is no NG+.
A great way imo to either not add a NG+ or to add a persistent world after beating the game is making sure you leave the world open and make tasks and quests either replayable or randomly generated. That's why some people can play the same Skyrim save for years, because there are so many generic RNG quests to complete.
If I were to start a new game + there would be almost no skill progression which would mean just spending most of the game in the equivalent of easy mode.
If you want new game plus, just cheat and give yourself the b st stuff and maxed out skills at the beginning of the game. But I think you will quickly find that without the unlock progression, the game will feel like it's missing something.
lmao, so you start at level 30 instead of level 15, then back down to level 1? I like it.
This option provides a sense of progression and reward for the time invested in the initial playthrough.
It's baffling that some individuals oppose the inclusion of New Game Plus.
These people express hatred towards those who seek increased replay value and recognition of their in-game efforts.
This is a terrible point of view.
Having a New Game Plus option doesn't prevent players from starting a fresh game from scratch.
It's a matter of providing players with more choices and freedom.
The New Game Plus option allows you to have more fun with a game you already bought
How can ng+ do the things you claim for KCD2? What progression? You have everything.
What choices? Do you think we gonna get new dialogue choices or something or branching path?
Do you think we made the decision of not adding ng+?
Ng+ won't be in this game. Why because warhorse already has the entire year of 2025 planned and packed with a roadmap that was announced before the game release.
And if I had to pick on who knows better between you and warhorse, I am gonna pick warhorse every time.
Edit: my bad. I am stupid. I am arguing with a private account who doesn't own the game on steam.
