He got run out of no fewer than four towns for being a homosexual and we're supposed to feel sympathetic for him. What was he doing, again and again, that would have caused him to be run out of town? There isn't a registry of gay people in which names are entered upon birth. He knew that his desires were frowned upon by the societal norms and yet continued acting upon them until he was driven into the countryside.

Its not like it doesn't happen to other people like Bozhena. Doesn't have to be soley because hes gay just happened to be the reason he was run out.
As far as a registry there is one in every town. The baliff even has you reference one of those registries during a side quest.

Well, he's gay, and didn't mean no harm to anyone with it and took himself out of the equation.

Afaic it's a super sad story and probably the only gay story in the game that is worthwile.

Really a poor lad that didn't do ♥♥♥♥ to anyone and banished himself so as not to annoy anyone.

He tells us that he was run out of multiple towns for being gay so he must have done something and done it repeatedly. Someone not getting married is not against the rules and it wouldn't immediately flag that he was gay in order for the townspeople to run him out so something must have happened.

Yeah I thought like that aswell... he just lives by himself in the forest, afraid, but tells a complete stranger about being homosexual within 30 seconds of meeting him. What.
