Mod to remove Hans Romance so my game is not retconned?
When? I just want that mod and that's it, I find it strange that it doesn't exist yet

Also needs to remove Bartosh hitting on you at the party before the ambush. 100% needed. I didn't appreciate the retcon either.
You know this is completely optional, does not affect the story, and you *really really* have to try to get the romance with him.

You can simply NOT hit the dialog options with the giant heart on them :steamfacepalm:

Yeah but if that option is present it implies even if I'm not gay Hans still is and Hans was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ straight womanizer in the first game

Went woke. Then lied about it. Then defended it.
Just accept your own personal homosexuality, then you won't need the mod.

Even if he was gay, it wouldn't make a difference. Dan Vavra confirmed that they are straight in the first game. It's about narrative consistency. Giving them a romance option is a retcon.

Ironic how it triggers you I don't want homosexuality in my game like if I don't I'm not a good person but use the typical if You do or if You don't do this you are gay using homosexuality as something derogatory, weaponizing a sexuality... you can pretend now to be a good person but you gave yourself away with this

The real sign of repressed homosexuality, is the inability to punctuate or capitalize properly. Honestly, it's a massive red flag. Look at any gay bar's sign, all capitals. They also talk in hushed voices because they are out of breath from reading long sentences.

You can remove it by the power of will) Just don't pick up the first hearted option, and the game will never bother you again with it.

P.S.: Jindro was retconned without bisexual stuff. At the first act, he turned from the experienced war vet from the end of KCD1 to Jindřich the Blacksmith boy from the beginning of KCD1, and it couldn't be fixed with any mods.

I wish that was true. I never picked any of the hearts on Hans and still when I talked to him at the end, the option was there after the very uncomfortable conversation. None of the hearts should be there with him to begin with, there should be an option to remove them.

It's an obvious bug) In 3 of 4 hearted interactions later (including on the bed in Suchdol), Jindřich refers to that line. But to which he should refer if the line was never said?

P.S: in my copy of the game this bug never occured.

Homosexuality doesn't exist in this game, if you choose for it not to. Just don't pick the options that lead to it, pretty simple. Would you also prefer a mod that removes all the options to romance the women?

You control the buttons you press :leaSmug:
I think it's hillarious that people are still getting upset about this. It offends you so much that you can't even have the option in the game files, it burns your soul that much? Also, it isn't necessarily a retcon anyways, you can easily say that Henry repressed his bisexual tendency (much like someone else we know I would wager) due to it being heavily stigmatized in those days, but as he matured and became more powerful, he finally accepted what deep down he always really knew, he like-a the ♥♥♥♥.

All I'm really trying to say is grow up and just don't press the romance option if it upsets you that much.

When KCD1 was in development, Dan Vanra explicitly stated that Henry is straight. Giving him same sex romance options is definitely a retcon.

"Waiter, there is a piece of dog poo on my pie, could I have one without it"
"Just eat around the dog poo, pretend it isn't there"
