Denuvo is not going to be in KCD 2 at all, nor any other DRM system. Tobi has officially confirmed it in the yesterday's stream that it has been just totally fake news and false information that came out of nowhere.

Honestly a fair question.
Also wondering if we'll get a GOG release down the line.
They do not use Denuvo, not in the last game, not in this game. One of the main reasons is because it makes the game run like :DSTpoop:. Another is because they don't have an issue with pirates, people who like their games genuinely want the studio to have money.

Not to mention they are malicious megacorps that mine data. Just folks who seem to want to make a good game.

such bull****. it's a small percentage of people like that. others will pirate if they can and if they can't - they will not buy. simple as that. so yea don't buy then.

Why do you judge others by yourself? Personally, I have already pre-ordered the game, due to the unavailability of the game in Russia, I had to do it on another account. But I want to reward the developer for his excellent work and sponsor the next games of this developer and a lot of gamers have the same opinion.
good for you.

yes, the ones that buy games. the ones that pirate games don't buy em after playing through just to be good boys and reward devs. that's simply a fairy tale made up by piracy apologists. because it sounds like charity and pirates are not the type. pirates just consume and move on to the next product

Will there be any evidence? Don't think that all the players are like you.
The most recent example of the fact that players are nobler than you say is the game Space Marine 2. After the full version of this game appeared on the torrents, pre-orders began to go through the roof. Gamers tried the game, gamers liked the game and gamers rewarded the developers. After appearing on the torrents, the game does not leave the top 20 steam for purchases.
that's just experience and empirical knowledge. these things can't be measured by actual statistics because people lie through their teeth. and the case of wh40k in my opinion is a different thing altogether. people who pirated the game liked it, the word of mouth spread, and then completely different people, who found out that the game was great, decided to pre-order. those pre-orders are not made by actual pirates but by people who listened to them. pirates just go to social media and spread the word. so in the end piracy is just a free bad or good press. that's true, no one is disputing that

but by all means you can call me bull****er because i don't provide studies on the subject. there was one actually, it said that piracy is good for the industry. this study though is based on online bull**** in my opinion. but whatever

I'm disputing it entirely, you're basing your conclusion on your own opinion and NOT facts, you have no statistics to backup your claims.

He is right tho, that study was conducted by the EU, you find it here:

There you have your statistics, enjoy:steamthumbsup:

According to this admittedly vague tweet it sounds like it will yes.

Yes, the first game is available on GOG too.
Hopefully, no need for smelly pirates to play at release.
