Do you mean, the NPC going to the place the stone hit and not where it was supposedly thrown from makes more sense? Do you act in that way on sound distractions in real life? If yes - I have no more questions.

There was nothing random in the detection system in the first game. Appearance visibility, illumination around Jindřich, and the noise he made were the three parameters that determined the chance of being detected. I'm sorry that you couldn't understand such a simple system. Hope the Assasin's Creed franchise suits you more.

TBF I don't use stones, I always found that mechanic lame in every game that its in. I prefer to learn pathing and plan and then attack.

Why are you being such a ♥♥♥♥ about this may i ask?

You could just be nice instead of trying to insult me. I'm 40 years old and have been playing stealth games since Thief.

If you want to carry on this conversation feel free, but I'll just block you if you are intent on being obnoxious as all hell about it.

briefly for me;

KCD 1 - Better combat challenge and freedom, i preferred the outland music more, had better activities to get cash for being good.

KCD 2 - More content, better theme tune for sure, has had me laughing more, more in depth side quests, better realistic costs of items in the shops.

KCD 2 at the moment has buggy issues that are annoying at the most inconvienent times, but i am sure these will be ironed out.
KCD1 because it was actually historically accurate, non-woke, and the writing and pacing wasn’t completely ♥♥♥♥ like it is with this game.

thanks. genuinely still considering a purchase so this is helpful. I decided at least to wait until hardcore is available ( i have 500 hours of KCD1 already).

Yes, i miss hardcore at the moment. i wish they released it together. but i am just grasping some of the different mechanics and finding my bearings.

Also wanted to mention as well the alchemy is slightly more difficult but more rewarding and realistic in the sense of the use of the giant bowl gives you more than one potion typically.

I see nothing insulting in calling anyone Assains Creed enjoyer. I was not very polite, because you have spread misinformation about KCD1 - there's nothing random with stealth there. If you did it with conscientious intentions - I want to offer my sincere apologies - maybe we played different game versions or something. And that's why for you it was a buggy mess and for me - a good stealth system. My deepest apologize, again, good sir.

Well if you look at my steam profile and see which stealth game i play! They are mostly the immersive sim kind with a bit of Chaos Theory sprinkled in there. I find immersive sim games usually have that awesome old school vibe to them and i get the same thing from KCD.

Anyway, hopefully when hardcore is released the KCD 2 stealth will be a bit more difficult, but as it is I find it a much smoother experience personally. It would be cool to get a negative perk where enemies see you more easily or some other perk to make stealth more difficult.
KCD2 It's just an overall improvement, still some bugs and a little jank here and there but hopefully most of it gets ironed out.

Sorry, I have no habit of digging in Steam accounts, except for causes of trolling suspicions.

And if you've found stealth in KCD1 messy sh*t - you should definitely try the modern state of the game - if your impression was formed by the bug - most of them were fixed.

Too early to say. KCD1 had lots of patches before I "discovered" it and this game in particular is crying for DLC.

KCDII is better graphically and in sheer scale and quest depth and stuff, it can even feel overwhelming at times
