Forced DEI has always been the problem. Stories have included minorities, stories of persecution, Gays and Lesbians forever. If they fit into the story nobody ever complains. It's only when it is forced that it becomes a problem.
100% matter of taste. IDGaF about such things if they are structurally possible. Musa of Mali could be a Malian royalty who ran to the Sigismund's from Porta. Was it highly likely? - No. That's why I state that he's implemented badly. But the game has many more problems in the story aspects - like Jindro's being retconned back to pre-Prbyslavitsa settings. And Musa is the least problem in comprasing to such a break of lore.

1) King Sigismund led a Crusade 7 years before the events of this game. He founded the Order of the Dragon to protect Europe from the spread of Islam. Islam was absolutely considered the biggest threat to Europe at the time. The reconquista was ongoing in Western Europe, the Ottoman Empire had just Vassalized Serbia and was building forces in the Balkans. <...>

2. Sigismund fought on the side of the Catholic Church in the Hussite Wars.
You're mixing up the 11th and 15th centuries. Sigismund arranged the Crusade against Ottomans for political reasons, not because he was a devoted Christian. He was very unpopular in Hungary and Croatia, so he started a splendid little war to gain some authority.

The same is true for his fight against the Hussites. Hissite wars were not 100% religious. The main reason why nobility supported it, was political - if Hussites won and turned Bohemia into archibishopric theocracy, nobles wouldn't have been forced to choose between Jobst or Sigismund, who were both unpopular among the aristocracy. Because Hussitism was against papal authority, the Archbishop of Prague could be a puppet in the hands of the Bohemian aristocracy.
So, fighting against Hussites was just a second act of his war for the Bohemian throne.

There is no way that King Sigismund would allow a Muslim into a Catholic Church Council.
Sigismund was a flighty monarch. Doing so was very much like him.

It is completely unbelievable. <...> but the church apparently is completely okay with someone who doesn't even worship the same God making decisions in their council.
Don't forget that, at least in KCD2, Sigismund is quite a cruel monarch, so I think nobody was brave enough to argue with him.

I can be stopped by the inquisition and forced to recite the Lord's Prayer,
With my roleplaying inquisitor and his men were forced to die in my first walkthrough) Serious sin, but the penance was serious too. 2500 groshen is the rough equivalent to real life's 10 L - the price of a craftsman's house.

In the second walkthrough, where I roleplayed a less cruel Jindro, Jindřich ze Gaslightiz mode was turned on, so he talked inquisitor out of his death.

So? How should I present argumentation? I'm not trying to be a psychic, so I cannot present my point via telepathy)

P.S.: you lied in post #252 and #254 ;-)

KCD2 is so good, it made me replay the first one. i love both. but with one one in recent memory you appriciate all the improvements of 2 more.

KCD2 is a better game. However, unlike KCD2, KCD1 has no woke BS so it's about even overall.
Frosty 10 ABR a las 11:50 a. m.
KCD 1, better combat, less grindy, more entertaining overall.

I like KCD2 better, but KCD1 was also fun. It had an amazing story, but the bugs and clunk (still present in 2) were a bit much.

Its not a fair comparison because the DLC isnt out for #2.

Its like 140 quests/activities in #1 and only like 80 or 90 in 2 without DLC.

Overall I prefer KCD1, but KCD2 is close. I like the music better in KCD1 and graphically the natural environments look better and more realistic. KCD1 is just more immersive to me and feels more magical, while 2 feels more like a game. It's easier to feel like you're a part of the world in KCD1, and it's easier to feel like the world is the real world, hence the realistic immersion.

KCD1 also has better combat; it's much easier to get OP in KCD2 and you defeat your enemies much more quickly in 2 as well. In KCD1 you still have a lengthy fight even when you get OP.

The map of KCD1 also feels less empty and more alive; there's more interesting sites, things feel closer together, churches are open, and religion generally feels like it has a bigger place in the world than in the second game. Empty churches in KCD2 is a pretty big miss for me and takes away from the historical immersion. Hopefully it will get added with the monastery DLC, but I still feel like some religious stuff or churches should have been part of the main quest, like it was in 1.

One thing KCD2 definitely does better is RPG mechanics. NPCs are also more diverse and do more various chores and occupations. I do however prefer KCD1's side quests better. KCD2 also has the dice system improved much more. I feel like the voice actor change when playing KCD2 dice is a nod to Oblivion as well, but it just feels off to me. I wish they didn't do that.

Overall though, KCD 1 and 2 are both some of my favourite games of all time. But of the two, 1 just takes it for me.

For me it's KCD2, I can't wait for the DLC.
