For me it was just a feeling of spending more time talking and seeing cut scenes in the actual missions alot of the side q aswell is just diplomatic stuff, maleing it feel more like an interactive tall tales game, than an rpg, hell i got a more immersed story from, southpark stick of truth than this poo.
This is all built on my personal opinion.
i wonder how they feel about reading books.
KCD2 and RDR2 are AMAZING staples of the gaming industry, but in both of them I caught myself at least once kinda bored for how longe conversations without impactful choice or simply cutscenes have been dragging. Im not saying they are bad, but there's room for improvement on that area because it feels sometimes due to the cost of producing Cutscenes, they overdo it sometime thinking all the playerbase will appreciate it as much as they do. Sometimes the Hideo Kojima school of thinking is not always perfect (MGS4 OH MY GOD).
But again this is my take, the complaints I saw didnt even go that deep so I wouldnt put too much faith in their argument also.
all i know is I will compare future titles to KCD2
The true successor to Skyrim ............
