I went down there with the intention of killing him as well but we ended up having some drinks together and talking about the past..

imagine drinking with the same kind that pillaged and slaughtered your entire village and family.

I mean not everyone who belongs to the same ethnicity or region of people act the same.

That is a part of the conversation. And you get your answer as real as it gets.

If you talk to him before deciding you'll find out that he deserted after Skalitz because he was against the pillaging and slaughtering, hes an pretty nice guy. To answer your question though, he does not reappear, you can go visit him after the side quest though if you wanted to.
Turns out he is actually a swordsmanship teacher. 500 Groschen lesson from him.

Not just the same kind, but actually he himself...at least he was there. But still...They were paid for that "job" and he even deserted after because he didn't like how it turned out. So in this case Past can really just be past...and the drinking part is quite fun :)
Vasko is chill he's a real bro don't kill him

This is one of my favorite parts of the game so far. It was nice to be able to make some peace with the past over some good ole' fashioned booze and bonding. Seeing Henry set aside any feelings one might've had in a situation like his, such as revenge or anger, and instead realizing that we are all just human beings trying to survive. If you have a high enough skill in drinking and speech you can have a pretty hilarious outcome.

no, i hate the cumans ingame.
I poisoned their stew after our bender but nothing happened. Does the game even let you kill the camp?

You need something stronger than weak bane against soldiers that are immune to poison after all their ventures.

If you want to kill all the cuman squad including Vasko, you can go through the drinking night with them, and then the next morning when you wake up drunk, they are sleeping except one guy walking around, so start with him then stealth assassinate the rest in their bed.

You can then report their death to the farmer hater in Troskowitz who will reward you for it. I did it in my second playthrough to get their bow and try something else.

He's irrelevant if that's your question

Not much point in taking out the camp though - it's more fun having a drink with the lads
