Tournament bug

Anyone else get the bug where the tournament won't progress, because NPCs don't enter the arena to fight?

Yes. It seems like most people are having trouble with the Kuttenberg tournaments.

yes it needs some polishing because it is very buggy atm. some serious pathing issues too

Pretty much, yeah. I was so looking forward to this quest, but at least it's the only game breaking bug i've found over 60 hours of gameplay.

I made it work with adding the sword, gambit and the right waffenrock:

Waffenrock: wh_cheat_addItem Waffenrock03_m02_A
Gambeson: wh_cheat_additem gambesonLong01_m01_C3_KHtournament_Henry
Sword: wh_cheat_additem longSwordDuel_khTournament

Add AND equip everything before you talk to Menhard to start the tournament! You won't be able to change anything afterwards but it finaly will let you use the added sword.

PPS. of course you have everything twice now on you, so keep that in mind as extra weight.

I know it's a bummer, but it worked for me. And as long as the devs haven't fixed it it's the only realy working way i know.

You can stand on the edge of the arena and still hit the guys usually.
You can also save before the fight reload if the NPC is stuck at a spot you cant hit

I found that waiting in my corner and skipping ahead an hour made the game act as if I won the fight and would skip to the next round. Which fixed this for me

This worked for me. But it doesn't say you won the duel right away. When your next duel starts the announcer will say you won the last one.

for me they got stuck in the snack table after drinking wine I had to reload a save a few times to be able to complete the thing

take off your weapons before entering the arena.

This is very buggy indeed. Finding that the opponents don't seem to path correctly or switch to the appropriate weapon for the fight (Example being that you'll enter a longsword fight but face against a sword and shield).
However I have found that if you wait in your corner for long enough, the announcer will eventually call the opponent a no show and you'll win that round. Boring yes, but at least I got to complete the quest.
