Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Any help with combat?
So im training with tomcat and it took me a while to get through the first 2 combos as he kept saying i was doing it wrong and now im not really skilled enough to learn master strikes cause he keeps busting me up xD.. Then any encounter i get into with bandits i can kill at least the weak armoured one but the heavily armoured bandit straight doinks me. Then sometimes when im blocking or attacking it feels as if its not registering I very much enjoy the franchise of the KCD franchise but the combat is making it very frustrating for me to want to carry on. Any advice would help cheers.

Henry taught Hans how the whole combat system works in the game at the beginning of the game. Replay that portion. You basically do the same thing against everyone you fight in the game and you win, in just the same way that you did with Hans.

Also, quit clicking for attacks when your turn is used up.
you need some armour - thats all - you can get hit a few times with good armour all over, you can pick it off dead people or steal it - fix it if its broken , or sell it and buy better stuff -rob graves if you have to - tomcat lets you wear it
i assume you dont have the dlc armour cause it is just really good -
you can avoid fights easily unless its a quest - random bandits just run away until you have armour - best to have a horse for travel and mutt is very useful for multiple opponents - go get him he can fight one guy while you fight another

You can fight him with almost no armor, the only problem is dealing with his master strikes because at this point you probably don’t know what triggers them, this is caused by attacking from the opposite side of the enemy’s attack stance.
The best way to deal with this is to attack from the side he is holding his sword and perform perfect blocks against his retaliations but don’t follow through with a riposte because from some sides perfect blocks force stances into a specific position and some of them put you on the opposite side of the enemy to allow for a quick master strike and Tomcat makes use of this.
Good luck and happy journey.
