In my game im in the mining cave and he wont die no matter what weapon i use.

It was the same for me lol! Did everything in order but that still happened. Try and surrender to him when fighting him (wasn’t a surrender scene or nothing), after that he jumped to the corner and I could initiate the scene. Might work for u as well :)

yes once dialogue and cut scene are over you can kill. If you try to engage before either he will be flagged as essential. If your saying you hit the triggers in the correct order and he was still invulnerable then that is a bigger problem with the scripting.

Forcing him to beg isn't a problem. Problem is that if you decide to engage a fight at the end of dialogue, he still will be essential.

I tried all ways I could think of, but nothing works. I went around and started fight before dialogue, i made sure to start dialogue without guards aggro. I took bribe, i refused bribe. Nothing works.

After I got tired of beating his ass, I hit LB and selected surrender. He should then cower and you can proceed with the script. May be a good time to farm XP as he is unarmed, and after you kill the guards you can just tee off on him as long as you like.

I just had the same issue, I chose to surrender and that was the workaround, when you surrender the fight ends and he starts begging for mercy.

I tried all kinds of methods, but none worked for me. In the end, I simply let him go, then pickpocketed him to take the letter! It doesn’t help with the killing part, but it's another way to get the letter if you can’t pass the skill check.

So, why give the option to kill this ♥♥♥♥♥♥? I'm farming levels in strength and agility now because this trash game made an unkillable NPC. ♥♥♥♥ THIS.

Okay I got this solved,

If you go through the cut scene, after you kill the guards if he in invulnerable you just say surrender and he actually surrenders instead. You have to let him go at the end though because he is still invulnerable. If you forget just run to entrance and he’ll go passive after he stops looking for you.
