Can't run the game smoothly - RTX 3080
Hello,
Even on 2K resolution with DLSS in quality mod i can't even have stable FPS above 40 fps on some spots, while putting all settings to medium.

LIke the house of marika and her mother from the start of the game.

Seems shadows are utterly expensive.

As anyone being able to have a smooth experience with the game ?
If so, please provided detailled settings and proofs

Will it be patched to be optimized ?

Thanks

So, i've manage to see what could cause some of issues in game.

I've used Process Explorer from Sysinternals to being able to see what did use 50% of my VRAM at idle.

Thing is, most of softwares (like browsers etc..) used by default hardware acceleration.
If it's not well managed it could use a HUGE amont of VRAM.

So i've deactivate hardware acceleration, in steam, browsers and others. Now i'm able to get the real performance out of my card.

Can you show proof of it and exactly which version of DLSS you are using ?

My guess is you need to update drivers or you have other hardware that's not up to snuff. I have a 3050 and it works flawlessly for me.

No. It's not.
Some spots cause weird performance hits. I have a 4060 and Marika's cave/home also caused my FPS to drop by a lot.

Thanks for your feedback.

Do you know if Warhorse Studio was patching performance issue on the first game ? Because if not i've other games to play.
Whats your cpu? Its super important for games like this. I'm getting 100+ fps on high settings with a 5800x3d and RTX 3070 but I play at 1080p
Cause its a rushed mess. :shit:

There seems to be memory issues when using wireless controller. Im running a 4070super and it's a stuttering mess . If I turn the controller off and on it will be ok for about 30 minues.

I am running on an RTX 3080 with an I7 13700 and it runs incredibly with everything set to ultra. I cranked it back to the upper "high" setting on everything after a few hours of gameplay though to make my PC stop being so loud and honestly, I don't see a difference in image quality.
Without a side by side comparison it may simply not matter visually.
I don't use a controller. I am using a wireless keyboard/mouse combo.

I´d check the RAM memory, otherwise try to adjust the options. Your setup seems to have problems regardless of the game.

could you provide proofs ?

My wife also plays RTX 3080 and i9 10850K. And it runs beautifully smooth. I recommend checking the hard drive (NVME) and RAM memory. Possibly reinstalling the OS?
