Skill trainers useless ?

I wondered why I shall pay 100 for each basic skill at the trainers.
for example: my riding skill was level 8 and 3/4 of the bar for the next level.
then I paid a trainer 100 for rising my skill.
then my riding skill was level 9 and 1/4 - but no skill point was given.
so I paid 100 for only 1/2 of the level without a skill point.
I guess it is the same with other skills and then I would say this is useless.

Maybe you don’t get a skill point every level? It might be every 2 levels idk or it’s bugged

skill points get awarded at 2-4-6-8-10-12-14-16-18-20-22-24-26-28-30 so jea and if you have the money and the skill just train and steal your 5k for a master trainer right back.....

No, they give XP towards that skill. They don't guarantee a level or perk though.

Like Bastila said, you get a perk every 2 levels.

yes. its just progresses faster with money. but u dont need it. its more a nice to have like for example u dont like alchemy but u want to lvl it for some reason.

True. Think of it as a way to trade coins for XP though. If you keep selling armor, etc. you can get a ton of groshen, then it's just something to spend it all on and make leveling things a little faster. Not worth it early game though.

Yeh, skill books give more XP though I think
