DRY DEVIL!
There’s no F reason rescuing the Dry Devil needs to be this insane, been trying for a friggen hour to kill these knights. All my allies die in 30 seconds leaving me with 6v1. EVERYTIME.. this is the only thing pissing me off in this game. All I want to do is get off work and enjoy this world. And I’m now stuck at this dumb mission!

♥♥♥♥ quest due to ♥♥♥♥ play testing and clearly either the producer from KCD1 is gone or the studio doesn't care about QA anymore

It's doable, but I had to try like 15 times.
ALWAYS kill the armored boss guy first with the gun. Then if Zizka is still alive, help him with the guy he is fighting. Then move behind the cart and move back when the flood attacks, carefully masterstriking them. When Henry starts saying that you should stay to help (backed away too much), just run up the hill in the other direction. Mutt is also very helpful. It takes a good armor and weapon and a lot of stamina related perks in warfare and sword, but it's (barely) doable.

Oh and don't worry, there's more, maybe even a bit worse. There's a quest giver called Posy in Bylany, who wants you to help save his kidnapped brother - that's basically the same mission, you 2 against like 10 cumans. (That also took like 20 minutes, running around in the dark forest reloading the gun, then getting rid of the bigger guys with it)
fight was extremely easy just like the rest of the game, just git gut
I found staying back got me and my guys killed everytime, the 1st time I went up to the cart and engaged the big knight, we stomped them no issue.

skill issue holy
You must have been in some hurry to burn through the game or something? That is not a hard fight for players with skills and good gear.

Here's the thing: At the end of the first game, Henry kicked ass and was a master swordsman, etc. At the start of this game, he is so grievously injured that he lost his skills and perks, etc. You have to earn them all back... failing to do so leads to problems like this.
Doable, but it requires some level and good gear. Other than that focus on backstabing the knights that are busy for some easy damage. If your companions are down then is the S game, keep walking back, trying to engage 1v1 and doing master strikes, and don't let anyone on your back. Unbelievable boring.

For me this fight, they mostly got one or two hit from behind while they tried to attack the others, like you say time spent working on skills makes fighting simple. There is a much harder fight than this later in an alley where it is three vs many and no room to maneuver so anyone who found this quest hard and doesn't have much work done on stats and skills will want to work on those.
