bow shoots early

i cant hunt at all everytim,e i go to draw the bow it shoots the arrow way early, anyone know of a fix for that? i meet the strength requirement

I've seen many folks speak to this but never actually experienced it myself. Hold left trigger, it won't loose until I hit RT. I've used several bows and crossbows /shrug Maybe mouse/kb issue?

Ive had this issue with one of the bows before, literally would fire before even fully pulling back arrow each time.

What's your archery skill level at? This happened to me this first few times I shot a bow in the game but after hitting like level 3 in archery it went away and hasn't happened again since.

A bow shooting too early is the result of not being able to fully draw a bow, which happens when you're strenght is too low.

You can use a bow if you meet the minimum requirements, but not to its full potential. Meeting minimum requirements isn't enough to fully draw a bow.

Try a bow with less strenght requirement and you will see it won't happen any longer.

ive used an elm and another long bow so far its happened with both, my strength is level 8 and the minimum is 5

I only expoerienced this with the Cuman bows. My strength is high enough according to the description of the bow.

From what I read and experienced myself, I'm guessing actual strength requirements are higher than indicated on the bow.

Strength to use and strength to hold the draw aren’t the same. I watched this happen when I got an early elm longbow and thought I was cool. Took it to the archery range and couldn’t get the same animation. Did the shooting competition a couple times trying to get used to it (figured the bows had different properties or something) and my strength leveled up on one shot and it drew back normally on the next.

yeah i just experienced this....sucks, need to level up strength

Check your mouse for double click. I had a same problem with scope in another game. Pressed button clicked off itself anytime.
