KCD3?

I finished the game last night and haven't gone back yet so I don't know if it's covered in the endgame, are the loose ends going to be tied up in the DLC's or is a third instalment in the works?

The game has only been out for 6 days. I don't think there could be any announcements in this direction yet. You can look at the release date of the first part and then calculate how long you will wait for a possible third part.

most probable answer is they left parts of the plot for dlcs to grab more dosh

Judging by the series trajectory, if there is ever KCD3, it will be like Dragon Age - Geiguard.

They said it was a Trilogy when 1 was released so yeah. but i wouldnt expect it for a while. latest 2030 but i reckon 2027-2028 is more likely

Sales and ideas on where they want this franchise to go will decide it.

If this is Henry's last game then KCD3 could be in the same country or in the same era while starring a new hero/heroine.

You will know in several years. They were working on KCD2 for like 6 years and we only learned about KCD2 being in development last year. That should tell you how long you're going to wait before knowing if there will be a sequel.

I personally would very much like to see Henry's story during the Hussite Wars in the next KCD. That would be surprising to have placed the first two games in the years just before one of the most important conflict in Europe of the first half of the 15th century and not make a game about the conflict itself.

I think Kingdom come is 1st and 2nd part (then it was renamed to Deliverance) and KCD2 is 3rd part. So I would say the game is now complete.

There wasn't a game before Kingdom Come: Deliverance, that was the first game.

I can´t recall exactly how it was. But you are right - there wasn´t a game before KCD. This merge was internal decision and they released both, known as Deliverance.
