But lets be honest, the victims here are traditional KcD1 players, who have to deal with a similarly lame combat mechanic, diversity that is not according to historical accuracy we have hoped for and a " romance " scene, even though optional, ruining our view on the characters, built on years of story and gameplay.

Last but not least, all the bugs and sucky quests of carrying stuff around or being locked in a castle, not being able to save properly, playing in a buggy mess.

Shame...

I wish I could refund and perhaps give this a try again in 2 or 3 years, when they got over themselves and fixed this mess.

To address the elephant in the room, if you were to ask me, yes I did enjoy it because the lead character (which the player controls and roleplays) is straight. That made it is easier for me to relate to him. Most of the other characters I interacted with with were straight, or at best it was not possible to discern their preference because it was not the focus of the dialogue. Although sex was a part of the game, the question of sexuality was not, and it felt like a safe and enjoyable space for members of the hetero community to explore.

Definitely need that safe space for the heteros due to all of the persecution they have seen throughout history. My heart goes out to you and the endless suffering us straights have had to endure. Nobody else can relate to the profound pain of living in a world where their very validity as a human is questioned due to a simple matter of sexual preference. Keep on keepin' on brother!

What you said has nothing to do with this, we discussed something that was established by the creators of the first game and that changed due to DEI policies, I don't understand how you think it's valid to write this irony when this kind of games, in fact most of games in general don't aim to moralize or raise awareness about anything... then you say that those who think there is a woke ideology behind things are crazy.

Why? To make trolling easier for you? If you never encountered homosexuals in KCD1, you never were in Vranik or Monastery, which means - you never played the game or at least never beat it.

You're locked in the castle to do the quest, just because you can't save whenever you want doesn't mean it's a mess. It's designed that way. Get good and don't get caught.

Oh btw they sprinkle little schnapps around for you to save while you're in there. We need a PSA for skill issued people.

I was one of the first backers on kickstarter. Loved the first game, love the second even more. If you do not like it you have all rights not to. But this game is still KCD just more polished. It is literally the first game without the jank

KCD 1 combat mechanics were supposed to be hard. As your character gains more skill levels it gets easier. I like that it doesn't reward button mashing.
