The "Musa" Disaster, or How to Insult Players' Intelligence
Well, here we are. Warhorse Studios, those geniuses of mediocrity, have found yet another way to spit in the faces of their players by adding a totally anachronistic, forced, and ridiculous character: Musa.

If you thought this game was still even remotely historically accurate, let me break it to you: it’s over. It’s no longer a historical RPG, it’s an ideological circus, and Musa is the main clown.

Who is Musa? An Insult to Realism and Common Sense
Musa is a walking cliché, a character added just to tick a box.
The problem? He has no business being here.

📌 A Sub-Saharan African warrior in Bohemia in 1403? Seriously?
📌 No credible explanation for his presence? We’re just supposed to accept it?
📌 A major character, even though he sticks out like a Viking in feudal Japan?

This is a joke.

They sold us a game that was supposed to be "realistic," an immersive, historically accurate depiction of medieval Europe, and suddenly, Musa drops in like it’s totally normal. This is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The "Musa Effect": The Game’s ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Justification
Of course, when players started questioning this fanfiction-tier character, the developers pulled out their usual garbage excuses:

🗣️ "Oh, but you know, African merchants were in Europe at this time…"
🗣️ "There are historical records mentioning people of color in Bohemia!"
🗣️ "You’re just mad because you can’t handle diversity!"

OH REALLY?
Then why is there zero credible evidence of a Sub-Saharan warrior in 1403 Bohemia? Why is Musa the only character of his kind, when historically, figures like him were extremely rare, if not entirely nonexistent?

Because the truth is, he’s a forced, poorly written, completely out-of-place character.

Why Musa Destroys the Experience
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 could have been a masterpiece of immersive storytelling. Instead, now, every time you see Musa, you’re reminded that this game is a lie, ruined by idiotic decisions.

⚔️ Combat was already garbage, and now we have to accept a character who completely shatters the game’s coherence.
📖 The story was supposed to be grounded in reality, but now it’s just a joke created by developers who don’t care about historical fidelity anymore.
🎭 Immersion is dead, because the second Musa opens his mouth, you remember that nothing about this world is real anymore.

At this point, why not just add a samurai, a Viking, and an alien while we’re at it?

The Community: Dumber Than Ever
Of course, on the forums, it’s a full-scale war because of Musa.

💩 Fanboys defending the indefensible – "Musa is amazing, stop crying!"
💩 Right-wing crybabies screaming about wokeism – "This is the downfall of Western civilization!"
💩 Fake intellectuals dropping Wikipedia sources to justify Musa’s existence.

And in the end, is anyone actually talking about gameplay, quests, or improvements from the first game?
NO. Everyone is too busy fighting over this useless character to focus on the actual game.

Why Musa is the Symbol of a Lost Game
Warhorse Studios had a golden opportunity to make a great historical RPG.
But with Musa, they’ve proven that they have completely abandoned any claim to realism or historical integrity.

✅ Historical accuracy? Dead.
✅ Immersion? Buried.
✅ Fans who wanted a faithful medieval experience? Betrayed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is no longer a historically accurate RPG.
It’s a platform for propaganda, a circus where every decision is made to fit modern agendas.

Final Verdict – Musa, or How to Ruin a Game with One Character
We could have had a masterpiece.
Instead, we got a farce.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? It’s finished.
Musa? The symbol of Warhorse Studios' downfall.
The players? Once again, treated like morons.

And if you’re still defending this game after this?
Sorry, but you’re the problem.

Thanks for the insult, I will not stoop to your level.

That trade routes existed is just not a good argument in this case. They went through multiple intermediaries on the way from Africa but even the Iberain peninsula, in the 15th century probably even more than in the 10th.

And if it wouldn't have been that hard to make the trip there would be some account of someone doing it.
Maybe there is. There are hundreds of thousands of accounts all across central Europe detailing the movement of pilgrims, foreigners and so on. For example, the illuminated manuscript c. 1350 depicting a black knight, Sir Morien, Not a knight in black armour, a black knight in silver armour. From Northern Europe. Yes he's fictional but the artist knew sub Saharan features.

Or, how about he depictions of St Menas who clearly travelled to every corner of the Roman empire c. 300. He's Egyptian and had the Roman Empire to facilitate his travel but that is another black man in Northern Europe over a thousand years earlier.

Not relevant enough for you? What about Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach c. 1170-1220, a mixed race knight on the quest for the holy grail from Germany - more fiction but 300 years before the time period in question, one of Europe's greatest pieces of literature has a mixed black man in Central Europe. (And it's not a plot point, he's just a character, not a curiosity)

Okay, fiction is fiction, you want accounts. Cool, got you. In 1240, a monk from what we now call St Petersburg wrote an account of a man with black skin, surely denoting he was a demon, harassing women for the way they dress.

Sticking with the "Black people are devils" theme, you have a wealth of accounts from Oberdollendorf in Germany, they really thought the black people that lived among them were demons, starting in 1180.

There are books written on the subject with proper references and everything. I found the above from a book called "The History of black art in medieval europe volume 2" and a resource linked from the University of Mississippi. Most of the pages of those books are not viewable unless you buy the books, but from the 400 or so pages, I got that much from the 5 or so I was allowed to read. It seems quite compelling evidence to me.

Sir Morian (Fictional)
>Moor (Likely a Berber or Saracen)
St Menas (Real)
>Greek Egyptian of Late Antiquity
Parzival (Fictional)
>Is German
You're kidding right?
Pilgrimages were a Christian phenomena (for the most part)
Muslims only go on a Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. (Jerusalem)

I am sure Henry of Skalits didnt exist either.
"Well Henry isn't real so Han's technically isn't gay or 15, and Musa didn't cuck Henry, because Henry isn't real."

How does he cuck him?
I got to romance Katherine and at the end when I told everyone I want to be with her, they laughed and told me she could be my mother, which annoyed me and then the annoying Musa said to take good care of her or he will steal her from me, sadly I couldn't run a swrod through him, but nothing much happened.
jesus is Henry black ? no , why do you care about a black musa , was everybody white during the first crusade in (1096–1099) so you dont thing that some people traveld to europe or only european people knew how to create boats ? learn your histroy you sound silly all of you racist. the richerst country in the world in the 1301-1400s was MALI in africa quick history lesson for all the professors in here, they did a lot of trading AND Musa IS FORM MALI.... hint ? by the name Musa of Mali ?? you guy are pathetic read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansa_Musa AND STAY QUIET.. you guys are the only ones here trying too push your WOKE racist agendas with this nonsens

Save yourselves at least some nerves and grab this. Sadly no voiceover yet, and lines of him insulting european culture still remain.
i guess cultures like Musa's just suddenly appeared in the 1900s.

the roman impire had many different cultures and it was not unheard of, after the callapse of the roman empire their where many different cultures spread everywhere please educate your self
africans where in europe already 45,000 years ago facts , just saying and the native indian was in america very long time before the white man just saying. And if your are so kin too defend your nonsen try reading history that dosent come directly from the KKK. and i hope that you arent americans because that would explain all the nonsen since many of you think europe is a country.. AND the first human in history is black and that is a fact. The internet is a helpfull tool if you know how to use it. Nothing woke about knowing history and the DEVS naild this game. they wont change anything since they do not support racist at all. AND if all you would not buy the game they would still do amazing numbers. next time you step in a elevator think about this is was invented by a black man Alexander Miles.
I think the Musa character strains credulity- but come on, he's onscreen for less than five minutes in a 150 hour game!

Vavra would have done better to introduce an Arab or a Turk, who would be plausible. Trying to get a Malian from Timbuktu to Cairo to Alexandria to Nicomedea to Constantinople to Kuttenberg was several bridges too far.

But still, it's a pretty minor blemish on a great game.

Great confusing Whataboutism mixing millenia and continents.... We have been through this now a hundred times but I will still write it one more time (not that I expect anyone to change his mind): The character of Musa is implausible as their is not a single written account that supports the idea that any Sub Saharan African being in Central Europe during this timeframe. The implausibility is supported by the many obstacles that he would have had on his way. Implausible does not mean impossible but just very unrealistic - deal with it.

Neither does him being in the game make it a bad game nor does pointing out his implausibility have anything to do with racism.

I agree with you, it's a great game but they could have done a much better job on adding diversity to the game. If they really wanted to just fill the "religion checkbox" and the "skin color checkbox" then they could have introduced two characters (e.g. an Ottoman and a Ethiopian) and make the whle story more plausible.

That said, I think they missed the opportunity to consider many other ways of adding diversity to the game - where are all the handicapped and disfigured people? That would have been even realistic for a medieval world and an important aspect of diversity. Why not integrate the Roma people more into the story? This would also be more plausible and represent a group that's discriminated almost everywhere in the world.
They sold "us," you say, but it doesn't take much reading between the lines to see you never bought the game, or at least never played it. Troll.
Guys. The worst part is that the main story forces you to join him, forces you to defend him, and forces you to lose a duel to gay dude so musa can save you. There's anyway it van get worse?

Bull, there is also a option to throw him under the bus in the storyline.

I dont mind a black dude being in it, sure i think its pretty damn goofy a random african is here in the middle of 1400s europe, never heard of that before

Im more in the crowd of finding it stupid your lose all of your skills at some point, because whatever happens magically makes you forget how to do mental tasks like picking a lock or someones pocket, or ya know.. herbal stuff and alchemy!

My main gripe is forced lol you lose moments, absolutely stupid this far into his story, sure runt made sense (still a damn shame there was no secret little cutscene in it, hell they coulda had his boys jump in and gank henry if he messed runt up!) but after all the ♥♥♥♥ he has been through? nah ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

This is coming from someone who is actually hype about the new AC, i think yasuke is badass to play as, sure was he really a samurai? debatable, but i love how he is portrayed in Nioh 2 and people aint losing their ♥♥♥♥ about him there!
