Quest for the wedding

So i gave the girl everything, but i can't give her the dress.

Game tells me "you have to hand in the exact amount" when i try to give her the dress.

What can i do ?

It's only like 200 groschen isn't it. You can get that by killing a couple of bandits.

Or go to the east of grandma that helps you at the start and look in the forest for the Thief camp. He has a bunch of very good loot, including a gold cross next to the bed that is worth 1500, but will sell for over 500.
Easiest way to find the camp is to take the road east from grandma, and keep an eye to the left of the road for a stream. You'll find a basket with a white cloth over it. Basically directly north of that is the thief

Uh what clothes should i get for the wedding ?

Not sure what to buy to wear there.

I realized yesterday that the chest in the herbwoman's house I am not robbing it after I picklock it. It has Pavlina's default amount of 160 goshen or whatever it is, and refreshes every day. I left the goshen but took the cobweb because nobody is selling it for me.

The dress is on the table during opening hours but presumably too valuable to leave there when it closes, so unless you just pony up the groshen for it you'll have to get creative. Something as simple as crouching down behind him and throwing a rock can distract him just long enough for you to grab it and sneak off.

Don't ask me how I would know such a thing :-P

Anyway, I ended up going through the blacksmith once I learned about the... human cost this approach would entail and decided I wanted no part in that.

It just needs a high Charisma and be clean. If you talk to the tailor you can ask him if your current clothes are good and he'll tell you

Well apparently not good enough for her haha. And you can get shoes from the saddle dude in Semine I think. He's also a cobbler.

You'll just have to try different cloths and talk to the tailor till he says you look amazing
