Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
making money is too easy
this was already an issue in the first game, basically i cleared out 1 or 2 bandit camps and i got 1000s of groschens, mainly from the good armor parts of bandits, this is making money allready pointless by the early-midgame, which is a shame because i had the most fun when starting out with 5 groschen you have to actually think how to spend your money

The problem is not with money-making but with the frequency of expensive armor sets appearance. And it was the same in the KCD1 but it was partially solved in the Hardcore mode. Hope it will be solved in the Hardcore mode for KCD2 too.

in which way was that solved in hardcore mode? but its right the good armor parts, which you can then sell, is the problem

To be fair, it really wasn't - maybe a tiny bit delayed. That to say, I'd say the main issue remains pickpocketing/lootpicking - if you do that, you will never run out of equipment or money, as you can simply take traders' full inventories with virtually no repercussions.

All bandits, and especially characters involved in the plot got the armor set downgrade. For example, if a middle-level robbing baron was wearing the Milanese Cuirass before, he started to wear Aachen Brigantine after, e.t.c.

Yup, but it's impossible to solve that problem completely without breaking the economy.
You need self-control and maybe have a realistic inventory weight? (unfortunately there's no mod for this)

As others said, it doesn't matter what they change because of pickpocketing and looting becoming easy mid-game you will be rich anyway, the only solution would be to limit the carrying weight and the tougher economy mod.

There was a mod that added weight to groschen on nexus that could prob help too but can't find it now.

edit: nevermind, here it is

Burden of Groschen

This is a core problem. No real solutions and luckily it doesn't hurt the gameplay that much, except for less tension on funds And a little too easy to stay ahead of the tech curve.
I think a partial solution would be to make repair kit usage scale with the cost of armour as well as armour amount. Also, to make armour value non-linear at merchants (so 50% damage = 1/4 normal value).
Lastly, have more armour damaged beyond repair in fights (I'm not sure they level down enemy armour when you fight them).
Lastly, have carried armour affect noise, not just worn armour (reduce stealth raids effectiveness a bit).
Just don't do it then? I've got about 25000 groschen at the moment but if you already have the best armour and weapon, you rarely need it so it's pointless anyway.
At least devs are trying to solve this issue.
You can't eat for free everywhere now. Price of sleep in tavern is somewhat expensive too. Thief is a bit harder because they suspect you easier. Also they don't give you armor for free (Guard patrol quest in 1), but have to work for things. I still don't have a horse and hoarding 1500 g for one
