How to repair the bow?

I have read that you can repair the bow at the carpenter. There is one in the first town, but i dont have the option to repair it.

Right below Trotsky castle there is an archery range in the quarry and the guy fixes bows there.

you can buy a marksman repair kit and have it with you believe the starter town lets you buy it from carpenter

If you hold left alt and hit repair you'll have the option to repair. If you just walk up and hit E it will not show as an option.
